NOVA Hudson is a non-profit registered charitable organization that has been providing community health care to the Hudson and St-Lazare area since 1956. We receive no Federal or Provincial government funding and rely solely on donations, bequests and client service fees.
Our board of directors are volunteers within our community. Our qualified nurses and dedicated volunteers work hard identifying needs and filling gaps in our healthcare system.
We are there to help with the ever-increasing needs of the frail elderly and those coping with acute and chronic illnesses. Our goal is to enable those in need to maintain their independence at home, in secure and familiar surroundings as long as possible, with help from the NOVA nurses and caregivers.
NOVA Hudson provides home nursing care and support to cancer patients during the course of the illness and particularly in the palliative stage.
This service is offered on a 24 hour, seven-days a week basis.
Foot care is provided in-clinic and at-home settings by specially trained registered nurses to elderly clients, diabetics and those having difficulty caring for their own feet.
Our professional staff and dedicated volunteers work closely with clients, caregivers and community health care agencies to provide comprehensive, compassionate, quality care.
