From Our Board President
Fall,
2006
As of October
15, 2006, V.O.N. Hudson Branch has a new name – NOVA Hudson.
This name change reflects our resolution, and that of many other
branches, not to join V.O.N. Canada in its reorganization as one
centralized administrative operation.
This decision was made so that we may continue to satisfy the
unique health care needs of our community by managing on a local level.
I can assure you that we will continue to be the
same quality organization that has served
the area since 1956. Our
highly skilled nurses and enthusiastic volunteers remain committed to
providing patients and their families with the personal, quality health
care and support that you know so well.
In addition, the three Quebec branches (Hudson, West Island and
Montreal) will collaborate with each other under the NOVA name.
We love our new look and our new name and hope that
you will too. Your continued
support has been, and always will be, appreciated.
